Mission Statement:
The Matchstick Archive collects, organizes, describes, makes available, and preserves records of historical or cultural value related to matches. This includes, but is not limited to matchboxes, matchbox labels, and matchbooks. The materials are primarily in English from the 1970's-1990's in the United States.
Physical access to archived materials is limited only to employees of the Matchstick Archive. All digitally archived materials are free for use with proper credit from the Matchstick Archive website, courtesy of neocities.org. The Matchstick Archive is an independent archival institution. The responsibility for the management and development of the Matchstick Archive rests solely with the Curator.
